Both the walls (7/16″ OSB) and roof (9/16″ OSB) are designed for lasting stability and performance. The exterior features standard vinyl siding, enhanced by a house wrap, white vented soffits, and a 12″ overhang on all sides, creating a clean, finished look.
The 8-pitch roof, constructed with attic trusses spaced 24″ on center, provides ample second-story space accessed by an L-shaped staircase with handrail. To protect against the New England climate, the roof system includes GAF Timberline shingles in standard colors, a first-row ice and water shield, synthetic underlayment, and a rapid ridge vent for proper ventilation and longevity.
