Built on the homeowner’s concrete pad, the garage features an upgraded 2×6 wall system standing 10 feet high, with studs spaced 16 inches on center for added strength and insulation potential. The clean exterior is finished with vinyl siding, white vented soffits, and 12-inch overhangs on all sides, delivering a crisp, finished look that fits perfectly into Vermont’s landscape.
A major upgrade on this build is the metal roofing system, paired with a 7-pitch roof, ice and water shield, synthetic underlayment, and a rapid ridge vent-a low-maintenance, long-lasting solution ideal for snow shedding and mountain conditions. The attic trusses, spaced 24 inches on center, create valuable upper-level space, easily accessed by L-shaped stairs with a handrail.
The garage includes two insulated raised-panel garage doors with glass, bringing in natural light while maintaining efficiency.
