If you’re searching for a custom garage builder in New Hampshire, this 24′ x 40′ Truss Series garage built on site in Bedford, NH is a prime example of New England Outdoor’s craftsmanship and attention to detail. Designed as a 1-story, 3-car garage, this structure combines durability, functionality, and timeless style — perfect for homeowners seeking extra vehicle storage, a workshop, or both.
Constructed on a pre-installed concrete pad, this garage boasts 2″ x 6″ framed walls standing 10 feet high, with studs spaced 16 inches on center for long-lasting strength and stability. The 7-pitch truss roof (trusses 24″ on center) supports a 12″ overhang on all sides, featuring house wrap, white vented soffits, and dark vinyl siding that gives the building a modern, finished appearance.
A standout feature is the 16-foot shed dormer, highlighted by two 16″x72″ insulated windows, enhancing both natural light and visual appeal. The roof system includes GAF Timberline shingles in standard colors, reinforced with an ice and water shield on the first row, synthetic underlayment, and a rapid ridge vent for superior moisture management and roof longevity.
Garage access includes three 10’x9′ raised panel doors (non-insulated, no glass, opener-ready) in standard colors – providing flexibility for vehicles and storage. Additional access is available through a 3′ pre-hung fiberglass entry door with 9-lite glass, painted to match the siding, and two sets of triple 32″x44″ windows with transoms for natural light and visual balance.
Inside, a 12′ by 40′ loft with 3/4″ plywood flooring adds valuable storage or workspace above. Topping off this build is a 36″x54″ Sedonna cupola, giving the garage a classic New England style.
Assembled on site in Bedford, NH, this Truss Series garage delivers the perfect blend of classic New England design and modern structural performance – made to handle tough New England weather and meet your unique needs.
